Patrick has been solid. If he gets a little more speed to his skating it should get really scary for the opposition.

NP's assist was not just nice....It was sublime.
It was an indicator that this kid sees the game in slow motion.
Glad Weise finished.

With TK's speed NP needs to play smart behind him like tonight = goal.

I think a little more speed will make that duo electric. So much that they could become line 2 in people who want to number lines eyes.

Hope Simmer is alright. Not sure what happened.
This team is so fun to watch finally. And it is so exciting to know its only going to get better with time.
I thought Manning struggled a lot tonight and should lead way for Sanheim to get back in, but winning two in a row and allowing only 3 goals total at home while scoring 13, I highly doubt any changes will happen.
Filp has looked really good so far this season. The depth is there.

While I may not agree with some of the lineup decisions its nice to see them having fun. It just seems that the vibe has been so gloomy over the last few years its nice for them to be enjoying hockey.

Couldn't be happier for G. Just saw that Patrick pass - damn hell of a play.

I'm starting to have a guarded optimism about this year. I was initially just looking forward to seeing the young guys play, but I really like what I'm seeing so far and think they could do more than just squeak into the playoffs. Definitely fun to watch these games.

Even better angle of Patrick's assist:

Observations:

- this team is relentless on the puck.

- Every line right now seems to be creating chances. This team can roll 4 lines without any problems

- 4th line is more then just energy. Their speed and skill are creating chances.

- Love Leier and Laughton on PK.

- Couturier can't score. Trade the bum.

- Again top line looks like they are a right mix. Seems having Couturier there allows Giroux and Voracek to have a little more offensive freedom

- Hagg is better then i thought. Just all around solid.

- 2nd PP moves the puck around and will start to score more goals. The puck movement is insane.

Flyers are finally a good team. The have speed and skill throughout the lineup. They have depth. They forecheck really well. This should be a fun year.

It's just a matter of time before Weal's hard work pays off for more points.
He works hard every shift and is always on the puck in the offensive zone

He is probably only skating at about 75-80%

Look at how different G and Ghost look this season compared to last. Patrick has a set of wheels on him. Not quite TK, but he is a deceptively good skater.
